Clutch it!!

This Clutch It segment is the first post in a series of my SpotLight Corner. Here I will be shining the spotlight on items that will help to make your event memorable.

So you're at a wedding and the bridesmaids are making their debut. You gawk at the gorgeous dresses and coordinating clutch, yes clutch. Bridemaids carrying a bridal clutch instead of a bouquet is becoming a very hot trend. I'm not a trendy person but this is one trend wagon I will jump on. Especially for the non tradional brides, this not-your-norm feature will definitely give your guests something to talk about...in a good way of course.

Here are a few visuals

More reasons to go with the clutch:

(1) As a bride this option will make you stand out even more as you can choose to be the only one carrying a bouquet. (2) Giving your girls clutches can double as their bridesmaid gifts and you can even write a heartfelt thank you note and put inside. thsi will make them feel even mroe honored sharing this day with you. (3) It's just too darn cute

So go ahead, clutch it!! And remember, don't make it a party...make it an event!!

9.10.11

9/10/2011, thats when my beautiful cousin of a bride married her prince. With love in the air and it being a sunny beautiful day, the wedding programs were the perfect touch to the outdoor event.

Fan-style program made with durable cardstock paper with the front panel accented with a rhinestone. this also served as a keepsake for the guests. Fan-style programs are also great for beach themed weddings or any outdoor event.

A Touch of Pearl.......

So I have the honor of being a co-maid of honor in my cousin's upcoming wedding......3 months and counting. I was also given the honor of creating her invitations. "Do whatever you want she says". Needles to say that sent my head spinning in so many ways. So after falling in love with this beautiful embroidered paper that I found I chose to go with a more modern route and here is the result

Stunning embroidered paper layerd on red luxe cardstock and finished with pearl accents. The bride-to-be absolutely loved it (like I knew she would). However she decided to stay true to her red and white theme and opted for one of my earlier design, Red Delight. Of course once the finished product is ready and approved I will have it posted, so stay tuned...

In the mean time just remember the next time you have that celebration, don't make it a party....make it an event and Embellished Memories Designs will help do just that.

WOW!! It has been a long time hasn't it? So much has been going on to where at times it seems overwhelming but I'm still here. Let's see...I've been working on some samples of which I'm getting ready to post so keep a look out. I've got some really good positive feedbacks so far, so positive that I asked by two local establishments to create some work and have it displayed in their stores (yeahhhh....more info to follow). I was also asked by one of the store owner's to be a guest speaker at her next monthly coctail sip. In the meantime I've found this local treasure of a paper store by the name of Rugg Road Paper Company....LOVE IT! They have a huge selection of handmade papers and the ladies there are great. I've fianlly finished designing my business cards and shipped off to the press.

Making this post a short one and hopefully my next one will be real soon with actuall pics. So again.....

Until next time....Stay safe...Stay loved....Stay blessed
